John played a key role in structuring complex, speciality insurance backed billion-dollar capital raises for large-scale biofuels projects. This required taking a start-up concept, reverse-engineering its risk structure, building a financial framework that integrated a waterfall of risk-mitigation strategies that met NRSRO investment-grade and ESG requirements to secure private capital. 

As the founder of Concept Property & Finance, he built one of the fastest-growing finance-sector SMEs in the Melbourne region, generating $35 million in revenue within three years. At Everse, he developed and delivered bespoke solutions to some of Australia’s largest mining companies, including Xstrata Mining and Yabulu Nickel Refinery, demonstrating his ability to engineer commercially viable and operationally efficient solutions in complex industrial environments. John’s leadership was instrumental in developing Glen Eagle Mine, where he took a 2,000-hectare mining lease from early-stage development to an operating resource valued at $150 million within two years, exceeding a total resource valuation $1.5 billion within four years.
